Q What is a pre-purchase building inspection?

These will provide you with a thorough report on a building's condition so that you know exactly what you are buying. The report will identify significant building defects or problems. The inspector will compare the property inspected with buildings of similar age & construction and will give an overall rating for the dwelling. We'll examine all the accessible areas of the building including the sub-floor & ceiling space & list any problems or potential problems.

Q What is a pre-purchase building report?

The inspector will access the roof void, the sub-floor as well as the entire building externally and internally to report on such defects as rising damp, shower leaks, timber decay or termite damage, cracks in external brickwork and internal walls, roof condition, sub-floor ventilation and drainage. Brad Hogan is the licensed consultant.

Q Why are your reports of superior quality to your competitors?

Building reports are approximately 20 to 25 pages of detailed information. All reports are carried out by Brad Hogan the owner of Vision Building Reports. Reports are not computer generated. Brad fills out a detailed field form on site and then brings the form back to the office for typing and sending, resulting in a report that is easier to read and understand.
